Lamborghini has stepped off the road and onto the court once again to unveil the BL003 padel racquet, its latest collaboration with racquet experts Babolat.

BL003 is the third product in a partnership that began in 2024. After the BL001 and BL002 editions were well-received by collectors and players alike, this new model aims to push that formula even further.

Italian DNA

BL003 is a jointly developed product that combines Babolat’s gaming technology know-how with Lamborghini’s experience in structural design and advanced carbon engineering.

According to the brand, the racquet borrows heavily from the DNA of Italian super sports cars, using complex geometries, high-modulus carbon fiber, and an optimized construction to maximize stability, responsiveness, and shot accuracy.

The lightweight construction and aerodynamic profile are designed to improve maneuverability on the court. The surface is made of 3K carbon, and the frame is reinforced with Corridion, a patented foam that is also used in Lamborghini cars.

The BL003 is handcrafted at the Babolat Padel Studio in Spain, where the company produces its most exclusive racquets in limited quantities and is finished with a thermoplastic ABS coating. This outer layer is said to improve comfort at impact while also improving durability over time.

From the factory floor to center court

The collaboration first began in 2024 with the BL001, notable for being produced within Lamborghini’s own manufacturing facility. It was announced at Arena, the brand’s global customer event. A year later, the BL002, built at Babolat headquarters, was introduced, recognized for its improved stability and design inspired by Lamborghini’s aerodynamic styling.

Both previous editions quickly became popular items in the premium padel segment. The BL003 continues that trajectory, blending automotive flair and competitiveness.

It will be available starting this month. babolat.com and selected authorized dealers around the world. Like its predecessor, production numbers are limited, so if you already have a fierce bull in your garage, chances are your sports bag will soon too.
