Ryan Garcia vs. Mario Barrios live updates: results, undercard, scorecard, highlights

The welterweight world championship bout is scheduled for Saturday in Las Vegas, with WBC champion Mario Barrios taking on Ryan Garcia for the belt.

This fight will be Garcia’s chance to win the first world championship of his career. If Garcia wants to accomplish that feat, he will need to show marked improvement from his most recent fight, which was a lackluster decision loss to Rolando Romero in the card’s main event in New York’s Times Square.

Barrios will also be looking to improve on his recent performance. Since being promoted from interim world champion to official world champion by the WBC, Barrios has defended the belt twice, drawing draws against Abel Ramos and Manny Pacquiao.

The rest of the card is filled with interesting matches, including Gary Antuan Russell taking on Andy Hiraoka for the WBA junior welterweight belt, and perennial title contender Frank Martin taking on fellow 140-pounder Nahir Albright.

CBS Sports will be with you all Saturday from the start of the main card broadcast at 6pm ET, so be sure to follow along with live results and highlights below. Be sure to check it out Our predictions and expert picks For the main event.
