“Deescalation of Adjuvant Therapy: Results from the Phase III neoCARHP Study in HER2+ Breast Cancer”

Phase III neoCARHP studyrecently published JCOneoadjuvant Taxanes and trastuzumab and pertuzumabwithout carboplatin (THP) for 6 cycles. Taxanes and trastuzumab and pertuzumaband Carboplatin (TCbHP) in achieving Stage II-III HER2+ pCR p Breast cancer with reduced toxicity.

PCR It was 64.1% in 65.9% in THP group and TCbHP group.

These findings contribute to the growing body of evidence that carboplatin can be safely omitted from neoadjuvant therapy for low to intermediate risk patients. HER2 positive breast cancer without compromising clinical results.

This “less is more” approach maintains clinical outcomes and improves patient outcomes.

This study mainly enrolled the following patients: Stage II (>2/3)Care should be taken when applying these results to more advanced cases. ”
