Watch world-class tennis and enjoy a free family day out at Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026
If you’re looking for a fun-filled day full of elite sport, happy kids, and plenty to do between matches, Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2026 is the place for you.
The WTA 500 tournament will be held again from January 31st to February 7th at the International Tennis Center in Zayed Sports City. This year we are committed to making it one of the most family-friendly events on Abu Dhabi’s calendar. Now in its fourth year, the tournament has become a highlight on the Women’s Tennis Association’s calendar. 28 singles players and 16 doubles teams will take to the court for eight days of intense competition.

Let’s start with the best part. Opening day on Saturday 31st January is completely free for everyone. No tickets, no excuses. This day is also Family Day, and the draw ceremony will be held live on the Village Stage, with the top WTA players announcing their opponents. Children also go free from February 2nd to February 4th.
On the court, the lineup is effective. World No. 5 and Wimbledon champion Jelena Rybakina will lead the field, joined by defending champion Belinda Bencic, Paula Badosa, Sofia Kenin, Jelena Ostapenko and rising stars Alexandra Ila and Victoria Mboko.

Away from the courts, the tennis village is bigger and busier than ever. There will be giant Jenga, Plinko, arcade challenges, art workshops, skill stations, basketball clinics and a dedicated children’s play area. There are also village passports that you can stamp and win prizes.
The first major event of 2026 will be the Wheelchair Tennis Invitational Tournament being held in parallel with the main tournament. The matches will take place from February 5th to 7th, and the players will also host a coaching clinic for coaches and determined people.
