The St. Louis Blues will play their final game before the Olympic suspension Wednesday night at American Airlines Center in Dallas (8:30 p.m., TNT, HBO Max, 101 ESPN).
The Blues will enter the hiatus on a positive note after Monday’s disappointing loss to Nashville.
“We go into the break feeling really good because we have to come back with a really good effort,” Blues head coach Jim Montgomery said. “I think we’ve been competitive for the majority of the last 12 games. We’ve got to add the execution piece and be able to close out games.”
Montgomery said the lineup for Wednesday’s game is not completely determined, saying it could be 11 forwards and seven defensemen, but could also be the regular 12 forwards and six defensemen.
Jordan Binnington will start in goal and Nathan Walker will return to the lineup.
