For all of Singtel’s many disadvantages As the phone company (I’m old enough to remember their shameful actions) color me tone Grab the Money), it has one ace up its sleeve: Singtel bill.
Your Singtel bill isn’t just for your mobile plan. Singtel Billing allows you to charge a variety of apps, services and subscriptions (including purchases of phones and other technology gadgets) to your monthly bill.

Very good news if you have a DBS Yu card…
Why is there a charge on my Singtel bill?
If you charge the purchase amount to your Singtel bill via DBS Yu Card, you have a chance to get (almost) 10 mpd.

Customers paying with DBS Yu Card directly Earn at one of Singtel’s self-service kiosks. 35 Yu points per S$1.
Note that this is slightly below the headline rate of 36 Yupoints per Singapore dollar. This is because scanning the Yu app will not earn you the basic 1 Yu point per Singapore dollar. That being said, it’s still equivalent 9.72mpd, This is significantly better than the 4 mpd obtained with other methods.

Click here for a complete list of self-service kiosks. here. Please note that card acceptance varies by kiosk. Based on data points provided by the community:

| If your Singtel kiosk accepts Visa, you can also earn 4 mpd by paying mobile contactless using your UOB Preferred Platinum Visa or UOB Visa Signature. |
If you scan your SingPass, you cannot overpay your Singtel bill, but if you manually enter your account number, you can prepay up to a credit balance of up to S$500, regardless of the actual amount owed. (h/t: mys7ix).
For the avoidance of doubt, you will not earn bonus points if you pay your Singtel bill through the Singtel app or website. This only works if you physically go to the kiosk and pay.

There is one important thing to note here. Cast.sg subscriptions are mostly monthlynot an annual event. So you’ll have to weigh the extra miles you’ll gain (compared to the 4 mpd option) against the discount you’ll give up. However, this is also offset by the added flexibility of not having to commit to a year-round contract.

Singtel PayLater for phones and gadgets

Singtel PayLater is the carrier’s own BNPL service. Singtel PayLater allows customers to split their payments into 12, 24 or 36 monthly installments with no upfront payments. Singtel PayLater is currently available at all Singtel Shops and Singtel.com and will soon be available at Singtel Exclusive Retailers. in online shopHere you can find headphones, laptops, mobile devices, power banks, speakers, TVs, tablets, and other gadgets.

This may actually be the best way to buy the latest Apple iPhone or any other device whose total price exceeds the DBS Yu Card’s monthly bonus limit of S$823.
conclusion
Singtel Billing is a nifty way to use your DBS Yucard to turn app purchases, subscriptions, and new gadgets into more or less 10 mpd opportunities. Additionally, the PayLater service helps you break down large expenses into smaller chunks that fit within your card’s bonus limits.
Of course, you won’t be able to maximize the bonus on your Singtel bill alone, as you’ll need to transact with at least three other YuYu merchants to unlock the 10 mpd rate for the month. But all you need to do is get on SimplyGo here and pick up a couple of plastic bags at Cold Storage and Giant there…
Is there anything else I can charge on my Singtel bill?
