MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will not play for Golden State against Minnesota on Monday night due to injuries.
Both players suited up on Sunday afternoon. The Warriors defeated the Timberwolves 111-85. In Minneapolis. But coach Steve Kerr said Curry’s right knee was giving out enough trouble to sideline him Monday morning.
Green is sidelined with a back injury.
Coach Kerr expressed hope that both players will be back in the lineup Wednesday against Utah.
The Warriors were already short-handed. After losing forward Jimmy Butler midway through the season to a torn ACL. Forward Jonathan Kuminga will also be out with a bone bruise and hyperextension of his left knee.
