Wellsboro, Pennsylvania (WETM) – Steve Martin’s comedy “Lapin Agile Picasso” is coming to Wellsboro and hopes to make people laugh for the second weekend in a row.
Picasso at Lapin AgileSteve Martin’s comedy “The Movie” will be performed at the Warehouse Theater, 3 Central Avenue, Wellsboro, on weekends from February 20th to 22nd and February 27th to March 1st.
Picasso at the Lapin Agile, a comedy from Hamilton Gibson Productions and directed by Steve Martin, depicts what happens in a world where Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso meet in 1904 at a bar called Lapin Agile in Paris. The show stars Cody Rosinger as Albert Einstein and Dominic Doganiello as Charles Schmendimen.

Tickets for the show will be available online Admission is $16 for adults and $8 for children 18 and under. Please note that there are fees when purchasing tickets online.

According to IMDbMartin began his career on the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. He eventually worked on various comedy jobs, including appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and guest hosting on Saturday Night Live. Martin created his own comedy album, which sold over 1 million copies. These albums won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Recording. Martin turned to acting in 1977, starring in a short film he wrote, The Absent-Mind Waiter. One of Martin’s most recent roles was in the television series “Only Murders in the Building.”
