Domestic CV sales were 38,844 units, recording a 29.1% year-on-year increase compared to January 2025. Growth was led by HCV trucks, with sales increasing to 12,691 units (+41.2% year-on-year), followed by ILMCV trucks with 7,071 units (+33.5%). The SCV Cargo and Pickup segment also delivered solid momentum with 29.5% year-on-year growth to 14,520 units, highlighting continued strength in last-mile and intracity logistics demand.

Tata Motors’ total CV sales in January 2026, including its international business, reached 41,549 units, recording steady growth of 29.9% year-on-year. Exports contributed 2,705 units, a significant increase of 42% compared to the same month last year. Passenger airlines remained broadly stable at 4,562 units, with a slight decline of 0.4%, even as the cargo-heavy segment continued to perform well. Overall, this performance reflects sustained infrastructure activity, stable freight traffic and improved demand conditions across domestic and export markets.
