“Jade’s Way”: Traitors Rachel and Stephen completely miss Jade’s “winning” tactics

If you’re shocked by Rachel’s amazing game plan, traitors, we don’t blame you. She coolly fended off threats, masterminded a risky but rewarding strategy, and convinced nearly all of her followers that she was one of them. But there’s one player who sneaks up behind Rachel with a winning tactic. That’s Jade. She proved to be a player to watch in this match. And it wasn’t just because she completely covered Stephen and Rachel’s eyes.

Since Jade was first welcomed into the castle by Claudia Winkleman, she has played by her own rules, the “Jade Method” so to speak. And it’s so great that it remains virtually unnoticed by Rachel and Stephen, the Faithfuls, and even many viewers at home. And we are confident that it will secure her a place in the finals. Here’s why her winning tactics will help her win to the end.

she disappeared under the radar

Unlike some players, traitorsJade wisely wasn’t interested in bringing energy to the protagonist. If a player gets too loud, they’re basically going to be asked to kick them. That’s exactly what happened to Hugo when he decided to eat Fulham for breakfast. As some of you may remember, after Ben was murdered, Hugo gave a dramatic, bombastic speech, sounding like a Shakespearean actor, exclaiming, “Whoever did that was despicable.” Hugo’s attention-seeking behavior was also criticized by fellow traitor Rachel, who admitted, “It was a little too much when he was literally commanding the room.” Obviously everyone felt the same way, as Hugo was expelled that night. In contrast, Jade remained on the sidelines of the group and was admittedly very quiet. That way, she won’t put herself on other players’ radars because they’re too busy being distracted by the loud voices in the group. and we know that by now traitorsthe more you say and do, the more ammunition you potentially give other players at the roundtable. That’s the mantra Jade lives by — and see how deeply it understands her.

The heat has become warm enough

Yes, Jade has been flying under the radar, but importantly, she hasn’t been completely off the grid. To remain in the game as a loyalist, you must be useful to the traitors as either an easily manipulated ally (hello, Roxy!) or a redirection tool. And Jade was definitely the latter. Jade’s name has been consistently brought up as a potential traitor since early on, in part because Hugo defended her at the Round Table…and then turned out to be a traitor. This led some to believe that he was protecting his fellow traitors, especially Amanda, who was a dog with a bone when it came to Jade. She was convinced that Jade was a traitor, so she voted for her in the next election. one by one A roundtable discussion until she was expelled. And Amanda wasn’t alone in her thoughts. In fact, in the final episode, Matthew decided to take up Amanda’s mantle and kept firing at Jade, leading Ellie to raise suspicions about Jade as well, citing her “defensiveness” that doesn’t fit with being a believer. As Ellie herself said, the heat was “uncomfortable” for Jade, but it turned out to be a plus for her. Rachel and Steven keep her back because the other players are wary of her being a traitor and attracting attention. And will continue to do so.

she chooses her moments

Throughout the game, Jade kept her cards close to her chest until she completely let down her guard for the first time at the final roundtable. After being slammed again, Jade finally got tired of it (of course!) and tearfully detailed the damage the accusations had done to her. “I don’t know why you’re crying,” she told the players. “I’ve never seen someone go through so many roundtables and have to put up with so much as I have. Frankly, I’m so fed up.” Unlike Harriet and Fiona, who had unprovoked outbursts of anger, Jade expressed her heart at exactly the right moment. Her reaction was a fair one, as it was to an accusation made at the Roundtable (unlike Fiona, who attacked Rachel seemingly at random to believers). Furthermore, Jade was not overly angry or disrespectful towards Matthew, her main accuser (Harriet, on the other hand, was, by her own admission, overly furious with Roxy). In their place came Faithfuls. In the end, Ellie was expelled, and Jade moved one step closer to the finals.

the lone wolf always wins

I simply can’t trust anyone traitors And if you do, you’ll be even stupider. For example, Roxy said in the last roundtable that she was sure that Steven would be faithful (oh my god). That means Roxy is ignoring Jesse’s money-making theory about Steven (the five in the library, anyone!). and The fact that Jesse was murdered after voting for him at the Roundtable. It’s clear she’s wearing blinkers, and since they’re allies, she simply won’t accept the idea that Stephen is a traitor. But in order to win traitorsyou need to be suspicious of everyone and not get too close to anyone. And this is exactly how Jade played it. She has never formed an alliance and describes herself as being “guarded” by nature. This is beneficial for Jade as it allows her to keep an open mind about who the traitor is. Her lack of loyalty to anyone means she is free to denounce any player without worrying about betrayal by a confidant.

Why Rachel and Stephen need to worry

So far, Rachel and Stephen have missed Jade. In fact, they seem to have tunnel vision when it comes to Jade, seeing her only as a useful redirection tool. That may be true, but she’s also a dangerous player waiting in the wings. As outlined above, Jade is a loner. That is, she is immune to Rachel and Stephen’s influence (well, manipulation). Her strategy of staying largely invisible also pays off, and we predict her final move will be a killer. Additionally, Jade has proven that she knows the perfect moment to capture and focus the attention of the roundtable. She might use that to give Rachel and Stephen the spotlight for once.
