IFC has released the first official trailer for Over Your Dead Body, an action thriller comedy starring Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) and Jason Segel (Shrinking), which will be released in theaters on April 24, 2026.

The story is about a dysfunctional and estranged couple who retreat to a secluded cabin to repair their relationship, but each secretly plots to kill the other.

It inspires plenty of darkly comedic and violent action between the pair, as well as other characters played by military veterans such as Timothy Olyphant, Juliette Lewis, Paul Guilfoyle and Keith Jardine.

Jorma Taccone, a former “Saturday Night Live” alum who directed “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stop” and “MacGruber,” will direct the film from a script by Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney.

Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Aram Tertzakian, Nick Spicer, Guy Danella and Lee Kim are producing with 87 North (John Wick, Nobody), who help produce the action.

“Over Your Corpse” will be released nationwide on April 24th.
