It was originally supposed to be Alexa Grasso vs. Rose Namajunas, but for some reason this feels like a more fitting match. “Nutty Ice” is highly regarded among the mixed martial arts staff as a future champion, and a win over Namajunas would ensure a title shot, whether it’s against Valentina Shevchenko or as part of a vacant title fight should Shevchenko tire and move up to bantamweight.
