Nigerian TikTok sensation and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has survived a fire accident caused by a generator.
The social media influencer revealed the incident in a post shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, where he uploaded a video capturing the early morning fire.
Footage showed flames engulfing the generator as a clearly distressed Peller repeatedly tried to extinguish the fire and called for help.
However, the fire was eventually extinguished after prolonged efforts using buckets of water.
The generator was destroyed, but the home and occupants were safe.
Fans and followers flooded the comments section with messages of relief, attributing the result to quick intervention and good luck.
The video also spread to other social platforms, raising safety concerns from viewers.
At the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire could not be independently verified.
The incident comes months after Peller survived another horror on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
During the episode, which unfolded on a widely shared livestream, the influencer was seen driving a Mercedes-Benz while becoming visibly emotional.
The broadcast, titled “Rest in Peace, Peller,” sparked concern after Peller made a series of hurtful statements.
In the video, Peller appeared upset during a phone conversation with his girlfriend amid speculation about his relationship.
At several moments, he expresses fear and makes statements that alarm viewers before crashing his vehicle into objects on the side of the road.
