Guitar Pedal X – News

Volume pedals are usually either passive or powered, with powered pedals having a more extensive feature set, as in this case. The only other truly expansive volume pedal that comes to mind is my friend Henry Kaiser’s favorite, the Sonuus Voluum. This pedal has always seemed a bit on the big side, but like the Canvas Volume, it covers quite a bit.

This is a full stereo volume controller with 8 different taper curves that can be selected on the smart ← + → front panel.

For a volume pedal, the current draw of 300mA seems a little high, but this must be due to the digital control.

When it comes to quality volume pedals, the brand I often associate with is the German brand Lehle. This new Walrus Canvas Volume certainly leaves its mark.

Control – ← + → Taper, Min, Gain, Lag, 1-8 Taper.

port – Left input, right input, left output, right output, tuner, 9V DC [-] 300mA, USB-C.

A volume pedal is an essential utility for many players, whether it’s at the beginning or end of the chain. Although the Canvas Volume appears to be somewhat uniquely innovative, it is relatively expensive at $300, on par with its predecessors. Walrus Audio Webstore. It looks very well made, but it’s not the smallest pedal.

I don’t know if these will happen in my future, but it’s always great to witness innovation.

This seems like it would work out pretty well for the walrus.
