WASHINGTON (7News) — Cracks in the rails caused delays for subway passengers Tuesday morning, affecting the Silver, Orange and Blue lines.
According to WMATA, the Orange and Blue Lines run as single-track lines between Stadium Armory and Eastern Market. Some trains are unloading at different stops to control traffic.
Silver Line trains only operate between Ashburn and Smithsonian.
