Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in ‘Danki’ and is now gearing up for his upcoming film ‘King’ which also stars his daughter Suhana Khan and Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone.
Shah Rukh Khan once said that he has carved out his own space without replacing anyone.
In an old interview with Rehren TV, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan spoke candidly about carving his own place in the industry despite having established stars like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan when he first joined the industry.
When asked if he expected to reach stardom by entering the film industry, Shah Rukh said, “I know that Mr. Salman Khan is undoubtedly the biggest star of all time in terms of time. I personally feel that Mr. Aamir Khan is the best actor in the country. To put it politely, I have made my mark.”
He further said, “Some people are very disrespectful and stupid and say I replaced A, B, C and D, but I think that is completely wrong. Everyone has their own acting style and everyone is accepted not because they are copying someone or because they are better than Aamir or Salman or because Ajay Devgn is better than him. That will not happen.”
He added, “There’s something about this, and that’s fine.Everyone is working at their own level.Secondly, I have a little bit of acting talent, and I’ve developed my technique a little bit, so I can play a lot of different roles. He doesn’t have the face of an action hero. He can get away with a role like ‘Deewana’. He can get away with a small comic role like ‘Chamatkar’. He can also get away with a romantic role like ‘Raju Van’. Gaya gentleman. ”
Speaking of Shah Rukh Khan, the megastar made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana, which was a huge box office success. Before acting in films, he worked as an actor in the television world in popular shows like ‘Fauji’ and ‘Circus’, where he played the role of Abhimanyu Rai.
